Jamie is a senior associate in our Antitrust, Competition, and Economic Regulation practice. He advises clients on all aspects of EU and UK competition law and has broad experience on a range of contentious matters, including cartel investigations, antitrust damages cases and judicial reviews. He also advises clients on the application of the UK subsidy control and EU state aid rules, as well as multi-jurisdictional merger control. Jamie advises across a wide variety of business sectors. His experience includes a secondment to Vodafone.
Representative experience
Advising UK Government on its defence of judicial review challenges to the sale of Bulb to Octopus.
Advising Vodafone on contentious and non-contentious matters.
Acting for HTC Corporation in UK patent infringement proceedings concerning the treatment of standard essential patents under competition law.
Advising a UK bank on the application of the State aid rules in the context of Government support schemes in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Advising clients in EU Member states in relation to competition investigations.
