Hogan Lovells advises on the issuance of Enel's new €2 billion perpetual hybrid bonds

Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised the financial institutions - BBVA, BNP PARIBAS, Citi, Crédit Agricole CIB, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC, IMI-Intesa Sanpaolo, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, MUFG, Société Générale and UniCredit – who acted as joint bookrunners, on the issuance of Enel’s new perpetual hybrid bonds, for an aggregate principal amount of 2 billion euros.

The issuance was more than 7 times oversubscribed, with total orders at peak of around 14 billion euros.

The securities, intended for institutional investors, are governed by English law and will be listed on the regulated market of the Irish Stock Exchange trading as Euronext Dublin.

The Hogan Lovells team that advised on the transaction was led by managing partner Italy Patrizio Messina together with partner Alessandro Accrocca and included associates Edoardo Minnetti and Noemi Biagini, and trainee Riccardo Del Torto.
